The Movement Foundations system
Generic group fitness classes prioritize exhaustion over movement quality, leaving your joints vulnerable. At Kinplus, we focus on true strength: coordination training with appropriate resistance to handle your own body weight, resist gravity, and protect your body for the long haul.
Our small group program replaces standard gym fluff with strict, science-backed training principles:
-
Train movements, not muscles. We focus entirely on fundamental, real-world patterns like pushing, pulling, squatting, rotating, and bracing.
-
Master your body weight first. You must be able to control your own body through full ranges of motion with speed and technical control before introducing external resistance.
-
Build dynamic joint stability. We target underlying structural weaknesses, imbalances, and tendon strength to actively bulletproof your body against injury.
-
Quality over failure. We focus on technical mastery and consistent, accumulated training volume across weeks and months. No training to failure, no wasted time, and no unnecessary joint strain.
-
Intentional group sizing. Get the precise benefit of an expert kinesiology framework in a small setting where you never get lost in the crowd.

Team training and workshops
With over a decade of experience coaching collegiate programs, Kevin designs targeted strength, conditioning, and movement mechanics workshops for local sports teams, clubs, and youth athletic organizations in the Niagara region.
Our approach deeply respects the Canadian Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD) model. We ensure all programming is strictly age-appropriate, carefully distinguishing between an athlete's biological age and their actual training age. Having coached athletes across the developmental spectrum—from 10-year-old beginners building baseline coordination to 23-year-old university competitors refining peak performance—we understand how to safely scale intensity and movement complexity.
We build custom frameworks tailored to the specific demands of your sport, with extensive experience working alongside track, swim, hockey, and baseball teams. Whether the goal is reducing team injury rates, mastering running economy, or building structural resilience for a demanding season, we provide the clear, expert guidance your athletes need to perform at their best.
Custom quotes provided based on team size, frequency, and specific training goals.
