I acknowledge that participation in the Garden City Classic Cross Country Race involves inherent risks, including but not limited to, the risk of injury, illness, or death. I voluntarily assume these risks and agree to participate in the Cross Country Race with the knowledge and understanding of these risks.

 

In consideration for being permitted to participate in the Race, I hereby waive, release, and discharge any and all claims, demands, or causes of action I may have against the organizers, sponsors, and volunteers of the Race (collectively, the "Released Parties"), and I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to my participation in the Race.

 

I acknowledge that I have read and understand the rules of the Race, and I agree to abide by them. I understand that failure to comply with the rules may result in my disqualification from the Race and/or removal from the Race course.

 

I further certify that I am physically fit and have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical professional. I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for any medical expenses or treatment incurred as a result of my participation in the Race.

 

I grant permission to the organizers of the Race to use my name, likeness, and image in any promotional materials related to the Race.

 

I have read this Liability Waiver and fully understand its contents. I am aware that this is a release of liability and a contract between myself and the Released Parties, and I agree to it at my own free will.
