On July 28th you can join one of the Runners' Edge events: the Wingfest 5K. This is a great family friendly, low key event that Runners' Edge will be supporting. To sign up and for all details click here.
Training will go back to normal this week. Look for Kevin to spice up your training week by offering knowledge about running in the heat, how to get faster and events that you can sign up for to drive your training forward!
Tuesday at 6:15 pm
35 min+ Progression Run
-- Run Easy for the whole run, until
-- the last 1K, timed. (Kevin will let you know where to take note of the 1K to go split) pick up the pace to a Steady effort.
Thursday at 6:15 pm
Interval Workout with Kevin.
Saturday at 7:00 am
If you are running the Wingfest 5K, opt for a shorter 30 min run with the last 5 min at a crisp effort.
If you are not running the Wingfest 5K, lets push the distance. Add another 5 min to you longest run this season!
